Covering the world
and my life.
I lie very still
at 3:00 a.m.
All is quiet
Gradually, the frozen mud
of Covid-19
slips away
and a tiny gold gem
appears.
The gold gem
Sings message:
“You are healthy
You are alive
You are vibrant
You have energy
and zest for living.
You are not the Sally
fraught with virus
as you had been in the past
many years ago.
You are strong
and oh, so healthy.
And besides,
getting healthier
all the time
while others get sick
with the King of Viruses.
The viruses you had caught
in the past
were nameless
and you had them
alone.
Now you soar above
the sick graphs
and crowded hospitals.
Sing of the joy of health.”
